Viscose is produced from birch wood and is a textile raw material. It is composed of cellulose, just like cotton. During viscose production, the structure of cellulose when in liquid form undergoes minimal chemical changes. When it solidifies into filament form, it remains cellulose, and due to this property, its structure shows high similarity to cotton.
